Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I need prior knowledge or my own telescope?

No prior knowledge is required. Our Guided Astronomy activity is designed for novices and the general public. We provide all the equipment, including powerful telescopes and binoculars. If you are an amateur astronomer and wish to bring your own gear, please contact us beforehand.

What is the best time to see the Milky Way?

The best season to observe the brightest part of the Milky Way (the galactic center) is during the summer nights (from May to September). For optimal viewing, we recommend booking on New Moon nights to ensure the darkest skies at Cabo de Cavalleria.

What happens if the observation day is cloudy?

The activity is subject to favorable weather conditions (clear skies). In the event of clouds, rain, or strong wind, the activity is cancelled or an alternative date is offered with a full refund if you cannot attend. Safety and the quality of the experience are our priority.

What should I bring to the night observation?

We recommend bringing warm clothing (even in summer, nights in Cavalleria can be cool), mosquito repellent (just in case), comfortable footwear, a bottle of water, and a handheld flashlight (preferably with a red light to preserve everyone's night vision).
